Kiarash Shahlaie, MD, PhD is the Assistant Professor and Director of Neurotrauma & Functional Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UC Davis. During his residency he was awarded the School of Medicine Alumni Association's 2009 House Staff Professionalism Award. He has developed subspecialty interests in neurotrauma, minimally invasive skull base neurosurgery and functional neurosurgery. He is a nationally recognized speaker, author and presenter and a gifted teacher.
