An actual case study of an individual with post traumatic vasospasm associated with a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) will be presented.
- Learn the state of the art neurosurgical intervention for TBI.
- Learn through a TBI case report the course of intervention from emergent treatment through management of post traumatic vasospasm and medical stabilization for rehabilitation.
- Understand the course of recovery from a severe TBI through a case study through use test scores and progress from the acute, rehabilitative and outpatient stages.
- Learn how to develop and design treatments from test results that gives objective measures necessary to obtain authorization for treatment.
- Learn how to use web-based resources to develop engaging, effective interventions.
- Learn how to select training words, select appropriate foils, use web-based pictures in a design of treatment, apply measurable baselines, measure outcome and maintenance of training.
