I am currently treating a TBI s/p approx 3 months, we are an acute rehab hospital that isn't designed to treat intensive TBI patients. I am thinking a more appropriate setting would be a neuro center/tbi center. Does anyone have any suggestions/contacts in northern california for a treatment center. She was making progress, however the MD's changed meds & it has sent her backwards. At this time her attention span is 20-30 seconds, no verbal language (this week), no reponse to personal yes/no questions, minimal reaction to sensory stim. Bottom line, our hospital is not the appropriate placement-any ideas would be very helpful.
